Danau Sentarum lies in a vast floodplain in the upper Kapuas River basin, West Kalimantan Province, Indonesia. The lake system, including of about 20 seasonal lakes, and freshwater swamp forest and peat swamp forest make up the Danau Sentarum National Park.
